APA-Economics reported that the Head of State viewed the stands showing the scheme of Hajigabul-Bahramtepe motor road, including the Hajigabul-Sabirabad part of the road, as well as pre-construction situation, construction works and the current situation of the highway.
Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov informed President Ilham Aliyev about the project of the reconstruction of Hajigabul-Bahramtepe highway.
The construction of the 50 km-long Hajigabul-Sabirabad part of the motor road has already been completed. 15 meter-wide highway is two-lane.
It was noted that 4 bridges, 5 pedestrian crossings, 68 water pipes, 26 bus stops will be built.
The Head of State was also given detailed information about Sabirabad-Behramtepe part of the road.
It was noted that the reconstruction of 3 of 7 bridges have been completed.
The construction is planned to be completed in May, 2014. The width of this part of the road is 15m. According to the contract, 7 bridges, 1 pedestrian crossing, 112 water pipes and 28 bus stops will be constructed.
