Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. Second-quarter demand fell 12% in tonnage terms to 856.3 metric tons, compared with the same quarter a year ago. In dollar terms, demand dropped 23% to $39 billion, APA-Economics reports quoting the World Gold Council.
Jewelry demand, as well, jumped 37% to 575.5 metric tons, and in value terms rose 20% to $26.2 billion.
