Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. In August, 2013, cargo transportation tariffs in transport sector dropped 0.1%, passenger transportation tariffs rose 0.8% in Azerbaijan.
According to State Statistical Committee, average tariff on 10 t/km transportation of cargo on export slipped 0.9%, on import – 0.2%, on local connection – 2.1%, on transit soared 2.1%.
Cargo transportation via sea transport to foreign countries slid 5.7%. Passenger transportation tariffs via air transport to CIS countries surged 2.8%, to other foreign countries – 5.2%.
Oil transportation tariffs increased by 0.1%. Cargo transportation tariffs on motor vehicles on international connection fell 7.8%.
