Azerbaijan to see 7% growth in transport sector next year

Baku. Ali Ahmadov – APA-Economics. Next year transport sector of Azerbaijan will grow by 6.9% and 6% in the next 3 years, Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev said, APA reports.

‘Realization of regional and local huge infrastructure projects, as well as construction and reconstruction of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad line, TRACECA and North-South international transport corridors, launching of international air and seaports will intensify the increase of transport sector short-term period’, said Mustafayev.

The minister noted that in 2013-2016, machine building industry is forecasted rise 7.3%, manufacture of transport vehicles – 30.9%.
