Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. A new wind power station will be launched in Yeni Yashma, Azerbaijan, said the Director of State Agency on Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources of Azerbaijan Akim Badalov.
According to him, the construction of this station has already been completed and State Commission tests it.
“Capacity will make 50 MVt. After opening of this station, it will join Azerenergy OJSC network”, he said.
Badalov mentioned that an opening of solar power station was held in Surakhani district. Construction of solar power stations in Garadagh, Pirallahi districts and Samukh region has been completed.
“Moreover, we are going to complete solar power stations projects in 7 regions”.
