Baku. Aynur Aliyeva – APA-Economics. Construction enterprises produced AZN 288.2 mln-products in January-August, 2014, up 18.9% from previous year, said the State Statistical Committee.
AZN 1,911,300 tonnes of cement were produced during the same period, up 40.9% by contrast to a year earlier.
Prefabricated concrete building structures production rose 10.7% to 19,700 tonnes. Production of ready-mixed concrete for wicker surged 25.5% to 1,149,000 tonnes.
Production of asphalt dropped 16.5% to 255,200 tonnes, construction gypsum – 34.4% to 125,100 tonnes, construction brick – 31.3% to 178,600 cubic meters, processed marble, travertine, alabaster and materials from them – 62.5% to 2,856,300 tonnes.
