Baku. Aynur Aliyeva – APA-Economics. Today, a protocol on distribution and correct utilization of telecommunication resources on the border of Azerbaijan-Georgia was signed in Baku. The document covers distribution and correct utilization of frequency resources, TV resources, including T channels, stations and GSM resources.
According to APA-Economics, the document was signed by the Deputy Minister of Communication and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Iltimas Mammadov and First Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Dimitry Kumsishvili.
Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov told reporters that through this document, two countries have come to agreement in many spheres: “for example, digitally broadcasting of Azerbaijani channels in the zones of Georgia in which Azerbaijanis live, broadcasting of Georgian channels over Azerbaijan’s satellite or utilization of Azerbaijan’s satellite in Georgia”.
