State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that 51.2% of workers worked in surface and pipeline, 12.3% in maritime transport, 16.1% in air transport, 20.4% subsidiary and extra transport sector.
Average monthly salary of the transport workers rose 1.7% to AZN 538.9. This index was AZN 786.2 in air transport, AZN 736.8 in maritime transport, AZN 587.2 in metro transport, AZN 530.7 in motor transport and AZN 254.9 in railway transport.
Salary rose 10.8% in metro transport, 6.8% in motor transport, 5.2% in railway transport and 1.1% in maritime transport.
Number of workers in information and communication sector made 27,100, average monthly salary soared 10.2% to AZN 736.7.
