According to him, it was planned initially to send working train from Baku to Turkey this year: “There is not problem in this direction. We’ll be able to sent control train to the border by the year-end. However, this line is planed to be launched next year”.
Nazirov said that currently construction works are underway here, especially in Marabda-Akhalkalaki area: “In parallel, Akhalkalaki station is under construction”.
The construction of this line will be completed soon and handed over to Georgia: “energy system changing is about to end”.
He also commented on prolongation and delay in the construction of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway. He said that they had to change this project some times: “Therefore, we see certain delays every year due to relief”.
