Baku. Aynur Aliyeva – APA-Economics. In July, 2013, transport and postal tariffs index cheapened by 2.6%, up 0.9% compared to last year. Communications tariff index has not changed in comparison to previous month. However, the figure rose 3.8% from a year earlier.
State Statistical Committee says the average tariff in carrying of 10 tonnes of cargo to 1 km distance cheapened 1.5% on export and 1% on transit, while it grew by 3.1% on import and 3% on local connection. Passenger transportation tariffs on international connection rose 1.2%.
Cargo transportation to the CIS countries via sea dropped 3.3%. Passenger transportation tariffs to the CIS countries via air went up 11%, to the other foreign countries – 5.4%. Oil transportation tariff via pipeline slipped 7.3%.
Postal and courier fees have not changed within a month.
