Baku. Aynur Aliyeva – APA-Economics. Supervisory Board of the State Fund for Development of Information Technologies under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies will hold the first meeting by September 15.
Press service of the Ministry told APA that the meeting will focus on form, conditions of grant agreements on grant competitions to be announced by the Fund and other necessary issues.
In the Supervisory Board of the Fund, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies is represented by Deputy Minister Elmir Valizadeh, Ministry of Education – by Deputy Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Ministry of Finance – by Department Head Firdovsi Khalilov, Ministry of Economic Development – by Director of Planning Department Samad Bashirli, Non-governmental organizations – by the chairman of Azerbaijan Internet Society Galib Gurbanov, President of Azerbaijan Internet Forum Osman Gunduz and Chairman of Information Problems Research Center Yashar Hajiyev.
At the end of the year, the Fund is expected to operate fully and start fisrt grant competition. Main goal of the Fund is to develop ICT sphere.
