Azerbaijan sees 8% rise in construction materials industry

Baku. Aynur Aliyeva – APA-Economics. Construction enterprises produced AZN 23.2 mln-products in January, 2014, up 7.8% from previous year, said the State Statistical Committee.

AZN 66.9 mln (+6.3%) was invested in main capital from all financial sources in January. Its 57.3% (+18.9%) were spent for carrying out construction works.

AZN 388.6 mln was directed to construction of production enterprises, AZN 272.3 mln – to construction of service objects. 66.4% of total investments fell to share of state, 33.6% - to non-state sector.

The funds directed from domestic sources rose 10.7% and made 67.3% of total investment. 83.3% belonged to state, 16.7% - to non-state sector.

Funds of enterprises and organizations in the investments directed to main capital made AZN 249.0 mln, bank credits – AZN 70.0 mln, budget funds – AZN 303.9 mln, extra-budgetary funds – AZN 12.7 mln, personal funds of the population – AZN 23.3 mln, other funds – AZN 2.0 mln.
