Azerbaijan and Korea discuss cooperation perspectives in ICT sphere

Baku. Vahab Rzayev - APA-Economics. A meeting with Korean Ambassador to Azerbaijan Choi Suk-inn and delegation of KT Company was held in the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies. The Ministry says firstly, presentation of projects implemented by KT in ICT sphere was held at the meeting.

After presentation, the Deputy Minister of Communication and IT Elmir Valizadeh informed about projects successfully implemented in the country. Speaking about targets of the president on launch of internet in every village and settlement, he noted that “Project on development of broadband internet in Azerbaijan” was developed in te country. As a result of implementation of the project, Baku will be supplied with 100 Mbit/s, regions – with 30 Mbit/s broadband internets.

Speaking about successful development of bilateral relations, the Ambassador Choi Suk-inn noted that Azerbaijan and Korea have opportunities to enhance the cooperation in most directions, including ICT sector.
