The prohibition on import of vehicles without manual transmission and ABS braking system to Azerbaijan will not influence the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russian AvtyoVAZ Company, said the head of Russia's trade representation in Azerbaijan Yuri Shedrin.
According to him, AvtoVAZ has already stopped production of VAZ-2107 classic models and will stop production of Samara models in the near future: “”VAZ-2107 models were substituted by Lada Granta, Lada Priora and Lada Kalina. I hope that the prohibition on import of vehicles without manual transmission and ABS braking system to Azerbaijan will not influence the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russian AvtyoVAZ Company and the links will be continued with new models meeting the security.
