Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-ECONOMICS. In December, 2012, transportation tariffs of Azerbaijan in transport sector rose 0.4%, while passenger transportation dropped 2.7%.
According to SSC, average export tariff on transporting 10 tonnes of cargo to 1 km distance fell by 0.4%, on transit rose 13.8%, local connection – 2.5%, import – 2.1%.
Passenger transportation tariffs in international links rose 5.9% within a month.
Interstate passenger transportation tariffs in motor transport declined by 1.5%.
In air transport, passenger transportation to the CIS countries and other foreign countries dropped 11.2% and 6.7%, respectively. Cargo transportation tariffs to the CIS countries increased by 0.6%.
