Chairman of Azerbaijan State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev has received ex-director of Capacity Building Directorate at the World Customs Organization, decorator of operational Authorized Economic Operators, author of the book, The Stairway - Management of an Authorized Secure Supply Chain: Capacity Building for a Customs Environment in a Changing World Lars Karlsson and Executive Director of KGH Border Services Patrich Heinesson.
APA-Economics says Aydin Aliyev noted the significance of exchange of experience, mutual relations in customs sphere.
Informing about Azerbaijan’s development way, achievement as a result of successful economic policy, successful domestic and foreign policy, Aliyev said the international relations and extension of cooperation influenced the customs sphere positively.
Speaking about customs development Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan’s customs contributed to the formation of budget incomes, economic security.
He assessed the contract between Azerterminalkompleks Union and KGH Border Services as a new stage of mutual relations and noted that this contract would contribute to modernization of trade.
L. Karlsson stressed that Azerbaijan developed rapidly. He also noted that Azerbaijan was a model in the region for customs service development.
Aydin Aliyev introduced the copies of the Stairway - Management of an Authorized Secure Supply Chain: Capacity Building for a Customs Environment in a Changing World book in Russian and Azeri languages to the author.
After meeting, Azerterminalkompleks Union and KGH Border Services signed a contract. The document was signed by Director of Azerterminalkompleks Union and Executive Director of KGH Border Services Patrich Heinesson.
