Construction materials cheapen in Azerbaijanâ€™s market

PU says deficiency of some materials during previous several months caused price rise of those materials and this influenced increase of average prices (0.10%). IN January-November, the prices reduced. Price reduction was mainly recorded in iron materials imported from Russia and Ukraine, glass, foam plastics and glass cotton materials imported from Iran and Turkey. This was caused by ending of construction season gradually and weakening of sale and purchase.

Although 27% of 87 types of construction materials cheapened, prices of some materials rose (5%). Most growth was recorded in wood and etc. So, the wood price rose to 235 AZN/m³. Generally, 2.39%-reduction was recorded compared with a month earlier. Average price in the market is lower 3.7% than beginning of the year, 4.3% - than previous year.
