To him, ADB has confirmed the second Multitranche Financing Facility – MFF financing agreement of the projects realized in highway system of Azerbaijan. Within the framework of this agreement, $500 mln loan will be allocated to Azerbaijani government: ‘In the first tranche, about $250 mln will be allocated to reconstruction of Jalilabad-Masalli motor road’.
ADB official noted that some research would be conducted within the framework of MFF-II: ‘The advisory company, which will conduct research, has already been selected and they will start the researches in future. Researches include different spheres of road-transport complex, including launching of toll roads. This process will be completed and the results will be submitted to the country’s government at the end of 2013.
