Azerbaijan to conduct statistic observations in some spheres

According to Program, in accord with the WCA-2010 round program that cover agriculture, forestry and environment in 2006-2015, it is considered to organize preparation and holding of agricultural listing, establishment and improvement of complex indicators system on statistics of environment corresponding to the international standards and ‘green economy’. Moreover, the works will be conducted in direction of coordination the national indicators on protection of environment with the recommendations of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).

By taking modern demands in service statistics, a tourism statistics meeting the international standards will be developed. In order to determine the degree of participation of young people in the country's economy there will be conducted a statistical study on their transition from school to work and provision of the youth with jobs. For a more in-depth study of the transport sector, sample statistics inspection will be organized in listing of rail and road transport. Statistics will be improved in the areas of science, technology and innovation.

Reference base on the deaths of infants and children up to 5 years will be investigated and established according to the methodology of the WHO.
