Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies told APA-Economics that one more alternative communications network would be put into operation with the construction of Aghsu-Ismayilli-Gabala fiber-optic cable.
The implementation of the project was made possible after Gabala villages were connected to fiber-optic lines. Thus, alternative communications will be provided by laying fiber-optic cable lines from the central station of Gabala region to Ismailli and Oghuz regions and combining these communications lines.
Currently Gabala communications is connected to the Trans-Asia-Europe (TAE) line in the direction of Agdash. This project will ensure alternative communications for Ismailli and Oguz regions by input and output connections in 3 directions.
The project will also enable to create a circular communications in areas Gabala-Aghdash-Khaldan-Sheki-Oghuz-Gabala and Gabala-Ismailli-Goychay-Aghdash-Gabala, which provides alternative communications of the above-mentioned regions.
