Baku to host international ICT exhibition tomorrow

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. On November 6-9, near 9,000 participators are expected to join the 18th Azerbaijan International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition (BakuTel-2012), to be held by organizing of Iteca Caspian Company, said the manager of exhibition Rena Abutalibova.

According to her, 160 companies from 23 countries, including US, Great Britain, Iran, China, Korea, Malaysia, Russia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Estonia will attend the exhibition. 40% of them is foreign, others â€“ are local companies. Austria, Canada, Croatia and France will have national pavilions.

Besides, ICT products presentations will be held in the exhibition. So, software, service equipments for satellite communication, teleradio broadcasting equipments and technologies, cable TV services, mobile technologies, radio stations and radio communication devices and etc. will be demonstrated.

Along with this, portable number project, new settlement variants for mobile communication in the plane will be demonstrated.

Deputy Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Elmir Valizadeh spoke about significance of BakuTel-2012 and noted that the analogical events played an important role in the development of Azerbaijanâ€™s ICT sector.

He also noted that Internet Governance Forum would be organized within the BakuTel-2012.
