Baku. Ali Ahmedov – APA-Economics. The Internet Governance Forum in Baku is a result of measures taken on this sphere in Azerbaijan, including IT development, measures taken for extension of internet usage, said the Deputy Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Elmir Valizadeh.
According to him, 1,500+ foreign guests are expected to participate in the event. The guests are already arriving in Baku and certain events started. So, the issues on IT development in Azerbaijan, freedom of expression, internet freedom usage, social networks are being discussed. The representatives of state bodies, non-governmental organizations and private organizations attend the event.
The event is being broadcasted to whole world and it’s possible to watch the event from anywhere.
