Azerbaijan-based mobile communication operators get 14% rise in income year-on-year

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. In January-September, 2012, Azerbaijanâ€™s Ministry of Communications and IT opened 86 new work places.

During the reporting period, average monthly salary of workers increased by 11.5% to AZN 326.9.

At the same time, during the reporting period, Azerbaijan-based mobile communication operators earned AZN 1,068.3 mln.

Totally, 64.3% of income on communication services came from mobile phone communication, up 13.9% from a year earlier. Share of sector in GDP made 1.8%.

AZN 664.9 mln-services were consumed to economic subjects and population by information and communication sector, up 12.6% in comparison to a year earlier.
