Applications in Azeri language to be soon used in Windows Phone devices

Baku. Ali Ahmadov â€“ APA-Economics. Soon, people in the whole world will be able to download and use applications in Windows Phone mobile phones, developed by Azerbaijani programmers. Just after some weeks local programs will be placed at Marketplace, it was expressed during the event dedicated to results of Windows Phone contest, held within the framework of Hackathon Azerbaijan project, APA reports.

Within the contest, young programmers prepared applications covering different spheres and categories for Windows Phone devices. Programs include war and other games, programs for reading of news sites, dictionaries and etc.

Winners of the contest were on-line translation application Aztionary, TwinsLand game and software designed for reading of news sites

General Manager of Microsoft Azerbaijan Rufat Hajielibeyov told APA that this project would help to develop young programmers. To him, soon, Windows Phone users in the whole world will be able to download the applications, developed by Azerbaijani programmers.

Commercial Director of Mobitel company Jumshud Aliyev told APA that at present, one part of Windows Phone users are unaware of its advantages: â€˜Existence of such programs will strongly support the enlightment of producers in this sphereâ€™.
