Swiss Stadler Rail company offers its services to Azerbaijan

Baku. Ali Ahmadov - APA-Economics. Swiss Stadler Rail company offered cooperation to Azerbaijan in reestablishment of railways.

Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways JSC Arif Asgarov informed about works carried out in modernization of railways, as well as State Program on development of railway transport system in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2010-2014: â€˜We appreciate the proposal of Stadler Rail companyâ€™.

Head of Swiss delegation, vice-president of Stadler Rail company Peter Jenelten spoke about the company. He noted that Stadler Rail had factories in Switzerland, Germany, Poland and other countries: â€˜At present, 13 counties exploit passenger trains, special wagons, tramways, locomotives of Stadler Rail company.

The meeting also focused on offers of Stadler Rail connected with construction of two factories in future for realization of capital repair of cargo and passenger wagons. It was decided to continue bilateral meetings in future.
