Azercell became the winner of a prestigious award for the second time
There were 3200 applications from corporations and individuals from over 50 countries made for the “International Business Awards 2012†competition. The initial winners of this tough competition were selected after two months of discussions. As a result of the final selection process Azercell was nominated as the winner of two “Stevie†awards. The company received an award in the nomination “New generations Carbon calculator†and got “Stevie†awards as “The public relations department of the year†and “The creative team of the year†of 2012.
Azercell’s Carbon Calculator project is an initiative intended for the prevention of the global climate change. This calculator helps you to calculate daily personal carbon emission ratio and clearly see and track the impact you make to the environment. With the help of the calculator hosted on Azercell’s official website, anyone can get valuable recommendations on the methods to decrease the impact on the climate change and on the conscious non-harmful behavior towards the environment.
“Stevie†award is being represented to the companies that have tangible contributions on the world scale. The purpose of the competition is to generate public recognition of the efforts, accomplishments, and positive contributions of companies and business people worldwide. Since 2002 companies and individuals from over than 60 countries became the winners of the “International Business Awardsâ€. On its 10th anniversary the Stevie awards has also introduced its Silver and Bronze “Stevie†awards. This is very pleasant fact, that Azercell is one of the first companies to receive Bronze “Stevie†award.
