Cargo and passenger transportation via motor transport rise 8% and 9% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-ECONOMICS. In January-May, 2012, 43.9 mln tons of cargo and 537 mln passengers were transported via motor transport, in Azerbaijan, up 7.5% and 9.1% compared to a year earlier, said the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, cargo turnover rose 7.7%, passenger turnover soared 10.1%.
