WB: The first facilities built within national water supply and sanitation services project to be launched in Fall, 2012

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. In Fall this year, the construction of new facilities financed by the World Bank in Azerbaijan will be completed, WB’s regional manager on South Caucasus Asad Alam said.
To him, within the framework of ‘National Water Supply and Sanitation services’ project, all relevant agreements were signed and the construction of different facilities would be completed within September-October of current year.
Note that, for realization of ‘National Water Supply and Sanitation services’ project, the World Bank allocated $260 mln loan to Azerbaijani Government. $230 mln fell on share of EBRD, $30 mln – IDA. The project concerns 15-16 regions of Azerbaijan, as well as 5 regions of Nakhchivan.
