Investments in Azerbaijan’s ICT sphere to exceed $7 bln in 2020 - PHOTOSESSION

According to him, these funds will be invested by private sector and the investments in Azerbaijan’s ICT sector will make $7.2 bln.
Minister noted that, Azerbaijan’s ICT expenditures for cosmic industry would make $1 bln, for surface and wireless communication network - $1 bln, for e-government and combating cyber crime - $ 1 bln, for creation of regional economic zones - $500 mln, development of digital TV - $ 100 mln.
He added that, Azerbaijan’s incomes from ICT, communication and post spheres would make $2 bln in 2012, $2.4 bln in 2013, $2.9 bln in 2014, $3.5 bln in 2015, $4.2 bln in 2016, $5.1 bln in 2017, $6.2 bln in 2018, $7.6 bln in 20149, $9.3 bln in 2020, $11.4 bln in 2021 and $14 bln in 2022 while it was $1.7 bln in 2011.
