Number of 1-2-floor buildings in centre of Baku to be decreased

Committee says according to plan, central part of Baku will be enlarged from 1,479 ha to 1,550 ha during18 years.
Residential fund in the central part of Baku will be reached to 9,081,300 m² from m².
As a result of changes, 1-2-fllor residential buildings will be decreased to 211,200 m² from 240,300 m². Instead number of 6-9-floor buildings will be approximately tripled and residential fund in such buildings will be increased to 2,017,400 m² from 604,600 m². Residential funds in 10-12-floor buildings will be increased by 1.7 times to 980,000 m² from 574,700 m². Area of 16+ floor buildings will increase from 3,324,500 m² to 3,747,300 m².
