MP accuses Construction Company of swindle

According to Chairman of the Parliamentâ€™s Committee on Legal Policy and State Building Ali Huseynli, the proposals on the document were adopted after first reading.

MP Tahir Rzayev offered several technical changes, as well solution of problems in the buildings which were not gasified.

MP, Rector of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction offered to specify â€œbeneficiaryâ€ and â€œcontractorâ€ expressions, as well compensations issues.

MP Bakhtiyar Aliyev noted that, it was faced cases such as sale of an apartment and not completion of construction works in time due to the companies do not control the construction completely. He gave an example the building constructed for deputies and accused the construction company of swindle. According to him, while the construction works of buildings for deputies started in 2006 the works have not completed yet: â€œThis Company and its head wastes the governmentâ€™s money for 7 yearsâ€. He offered to include several articles for solution of these problems in the code.

Speaker Ogtay Asadov reminded that, 80% deputies having equity in that cooperative had taken the compensation. But the construction works must be continued and completed.
