Azerbaijan takes part in the Communication Administrations headsâ€™ meeting in Ashgabat

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The 46th meeting of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC) has opened in Ashgabat and last two days, an official Turkmen source said on Tuesday.

Azerbaijanâ€™s Ministry of Communications and IT told APA that the delegation led by the Minister Ali Abbasov will represent our country at the two-day meeting.

The agenda of the current meeting includes issues of the implementation of the RCC measures, contributing to the development of further cooperation of the CIS member states in the sphere of communication and information. Also covered will be the preparation of the RCC communications administrations to international and regional forums in the field of radio communication and postal services, cooperation in the field of telecommunications and including entry of new participants into the Telecommunication Operators Board.
It is planned to discuss and take appropriate decisions on the internal activity of the RCC, including amendments and additions to the RCC regulations.
