Azerbaijani President takes part in opening of Nakhchivan City Customs Departmentâ€™s administrate building

Baku - APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today opened a new office building of the Nakhchivan City Customs Department.

According to APA, the President cut the red ribbon symbolizing the opening of an administrative building.

It was noted that the construction of the Nakhchivan City Customs Department was started last year. The new building is provided with latest equipment.

The three-storey building comprises outbuildings, server, training rooms and archives. 22 surveillance cameras have been installed in the observation room. The building also has wide opportunities for holding of different international meetings, seminars and events.

It was noted that the site is located on 4 hectares. The complex includes administrative building, freight line, registration buildings and Customs Laboratory, as well as canine service. A broad platform, and two warehouses with total area of 2 thousand 97 sq.m were installed on the freight line. The storage buildings are installed with X-ray structure Rapiskan.

The head of the state was informed about the conditions in the registration department created on the first floor of the administrate building. Here, vehicle registration will be realized by â€˜single windowâ€™ principle and the whole process will takes 20 minutes.

Expressing satisfaction for conditions created in Nakhchivan City Customs Department, President Ilham Aliyev wished successes to the team.
