Monitoring conducted by ’Property Market Participants’ Industrial Union show that number of purchase and sales grew comparatively.

Within a month, the growth of the proposals amounted to 4.1%. Average cost in the market for April remained unchanged. Exhibition period in secondary car market declined 1.1% and currently a car is sold for 44.4 days.

Compared to previous months, the trend of mass flow of old cars in the market rose within the last 3 months. It is associated with the introduction of the country’s ban on the import of vehicles without antilock brake system (ABS) and airbags.

The proposal on the well-known German brand Mercedes-Benz, leading for many years in the secondary market, rose 1.4% compared to March and it takes 35% of the total portfolio of offerings. In general, there was an increase in the portfolio offers of nine brands, and the highest (5.2%) was recorded on VAZ cars.

The monitoring shows that, as in previous months, the proportion of Mercedes-Benz in the overall portfolio of proposals is much higher than that of its competitors. The share of offer for the nine brands made 86.7%. The rest 13.3% is distributed among the 80 brands produced by more than 20 automakers.
