Azerbaijan participates in WSIS, Geneva

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Forum on fulfilment of World Summit on the Information Societyâ€™s decision is being held in Geneva.

According to Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies, Azerbaijan is represented by Deputy Minister of Communication and IT Elmir Valizadeh.

The event was organized by the International Telecommunication Union, UNESCO, UNCTAD and UN Development Program and is largest annual forum of ICT society. UN specialized enterprises, governments, civil society and organizations of ICT sphere are represented here.

Format of the forum allows the all interesting sides to participate in multilateral discussion of issues on information society. Agenda of the forum includes development of rural places, information-communication infrastructure, cyber security, education, health, innovation and other issues.

Responsible persons have been appointed on appropriate structures of the JSC and relevant duty schedule had been confirmed on exploitation areas of all districts Energy Supply and Sales Department.

â€˜Energy suppliers of the contest â€“ Badamdar, Icherishahar, Liman, Yeni Bayil, Kohne Bayil, Bayrag Meydani, Dagustu Park, substations #203 and 227 have been completely inspected, working groups were provided with machine-mechanisms, special clothing, with the appropriate tools and electrical equipment, as well as other technical meansâ€™, BakÄ±elektrikÅŸebeke reported.

Note that, 110/35 kV substations, which cover the center of Baku have been joined to SCADA. Any problem in the substations is transferred to dispatcher posts via this system and it creates operative interference chance.
