Emergency situation in bridge over highway restricts movement of vehicles in Azerbaijan

Official Beybala Eyyubov told APA that emergency situation of the bridge was caused by expiration of exploitation of Agsu-Behramtapa road and intensive movement of heavy tonnage trucks. The movement has been restricted on the bridge.

An alternative bridge is being launched for temporary movement. Currently, heavy equipment and workers of Road Exploitation Office are working at the site. In the near future, it is expected to reconstruct the highway and build new bridge.

Note that, the bridge, constructed in 1968, has 24 m length and 9 m width. It has 3 spans.
