Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. The tariffs of cargo transportation in transport sector increased by 4.5%, passenger transportation decreased by 0.4% in April, 2012, compared with a month ago.
State Statistical Committee says average tariff of 10 tons of cargo on export decreased by 4.6%, on import – by 3.9%, on local connection – by 1%, on transportation of transit cargo – by 0.3%: “Transportation tariffs via railway in international connection decreased by 13.4%â€.
Cargo transportation tariffs to foreign countries via sea transport rose 5.4%. Tariff for 1 ton of cargo to CIS countries via air transport soared 0.1%, passenger transportation – by 13.3%, passenger transportation to other foreign countries slipped – 0.2%.
Oil transportation tariffs via pipelines surged 7.2%.
