Next tender on new Baku International Sea Trade Port to be announced

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. A tender on determination of contractor which will conduct supply of equipments and construction of the area of new Baku International Sea Trade Port in land will be announced recently, said the Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov.

According to Minister, 2 rafts were purchased in 2011 to develop the water transport. Construction of other 2 rafts is continued in Croatian Pula city, one floating dock was ordered: â€œBesides, the works on moving of Khazardenizgemitemiri PU continued, new automobile base was constructed near Zigh dry cargo port pointâ€.

Mammadov also noted that, the works on preparation of area of new Baku International Sea Trade Port for construction and projection and construction of road infrastructure merging Baku-Alat motor road and port complex have been started: â€œDutch Van Oord company works in port water area. A tender on determination of contractor will be announced recently. â€
