Istanbul. Mahbuba Gasimbayli â€“ APA. â€œLaunch of flight from Istanbul to Ganja is a very significant decision. Ganja is very important city after Bakuâ€, said the Director-General of Turkish Airlines Temel Kotil.

He noted that, they always thought about launch of this flight: â€œIf we get agreement soon, Istanbul-Ganja-Istanbul flight will be launched in a period less than a monthâ€.

According to him, Ganja is the third city of Azerbaijan that Turkish Airlines organizes flights: â€œWeâ€™ll connect Azerbaijanâ€™s third city to Turkey, Istanbul by this flight. Pertinently, weâ€™d like to implement flights to all cities of Azerbaijan. But, still Ganja will be soon. We think to organize flights to Ganja every dayâ€.

He reminded that, Turkish Airlines implemented flights to Baku 4 times per day: â€œBut we want to increase this number. Turkey and Azerbaijan are close countries. We have same languages and values. We know that, many persons come from Azerbaijan to Turkey. We are ready to collaborate with AZAL. AZAL is a brother company for usâ€.
