US presents two vehicles, provided with special equipments, to Azerbaijani State Customs Committee - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

Delivering speech at the event chairman of the committee Aydin Aliyev said that the cost of t6he vehicles was more than $300,000. â€˜The vehicles have been purchased from the US Export Control and Related Border Security (EXBS) program in order to help strengthen the border security measures of Azerbaijan: â€˜In general, within the framework of this program, the State Customs Committee obtained $1.695 mln-equipments for realization of test analyses and special vehicles. These vehicles are currently used in customs service of the US. These vehicles have also generators and lighting systems. The vehicles will help mobile groups of our service to find secret places of the cars at customs postsâ€™.

Committee chairman says that, the employees do not need special trainings for management of special equipments in the cars: â€œOur employees visited US repeatedly for management of such equipments, learned their experience. Special mirror equipments in the cars are used in customs services of Azerbaijanâ€.

ChargÃ© d’Affaires at U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan Adam Sterling appreciated the cooperation between SCC and EXBS and noted that, these machines could make safe Azerbaijan: â€œThese stations will increase inspection opportunities of Azerbaijan. We can provide our citizens with more safety borders by working togetherâ€.

Sterling noted that, EXBS had provided $24.5 mln-supply equipments and training centers to SCC and State Border Service since 2000.

Thereafter, presented cars were reviewed.
