Azerbaijan decreases production of construction materials by 40%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. In January-July, 2011, industrial enterprise in construction materials sphere produced AZN 125.8 mln â€“ output, down 38.5% compared to a year ago.

State Statistical Committee says that 759.700 tons of cement, 61.900 tons of building plaster, 562.500 tons of ready-mixed concrete for tow, 20.400 cubic meter of team-building concrete structures, 199.500 tons of asphalt, 126.700 cubic meters of brick was produced during January-July, 2011, compared to a year ago.

As of August 1, 2011, AZN 9.9 mln - stock of finished goods was at the warehouses of enterprises.
