Azerbaijan decreases production in ICT and postal sector by 22% in January

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Amount of production in ICT, information and postal sector of Azerbaijan made AZN 92.9 mln, inn January, 2011, up 21.6% from year ago, Information Technologies Ministry’s Finance and Economic Analysis Department’s leading adviser Jahandar Gadirov told APA.

According to him, most of growth was observed in production, trade and service spheres of IT products.

â€œBesides, 17.2% growth was observed in mobile communication services market, in January. Incomes in this sector made AZN 52.4 mlnâ€, he added.

He also noted that, the production in media sector of the country rose 65.2% to AZN 722.1 thousand.
