Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. 7.2 mln tons of cargo and 90.8 mln passengers have been transported via motor transport in January, 2011, up 5.9% and 7.6% compared to a year earlier.

State Statistical Committee says 96.8% passengers have used the buses and 3.2% - taxis.

Cargo turnover rose 6.4%, passenger turnover â€“ 8.7% from year ago.
