Azerbaijan sees 3% rise in cargo transportation by sea transport

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. In January, 2011, cargo transportation by the sea transport rose 3.3% to 1.1 mln tons, compared to a year ago.

State Statistical Committee says that, 60.4% of cargos were oil, 39.6% - dry cargos.

1.1 mln tons of shipment â€“unshipment works have been conducted during the same period. International transitional cargos rose 46.5%, import cargos â€“ 53.6%, export cargos slipped 7.3%.
