Azerbaijani Minister of Communication and Information Technologies meets with his Iranian counterpart

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Today, a meeting with the delegation led by Reza Taghipour Anvari, the Minister of Iranâ€™s Information Technologies and Communication was held in the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan.

According to MCIT, Azerbaijani Minister Ali Abbasov noted that the current friendship relationship between Iran and Azerbaijan played an important role on the strategic cooperation.

In turn, R. T. Anvari spoke about the high level of friendship and bilateral relations between two countries.

Telecommunication and postal sector, transfer of international traffics, protection of broadcasting air in the border regions, especially regulation of broadcasting of TV and radio programs in Nakhchevan AR, including cooperation opportunities in space industry have been discussed at the meeting.

Then, establishment of Deputy Ministerial Working Group of both countries and final proposals after the discussion are considered to be submitted to the Iran â€“ Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission.
