Azercell makes public results of activity in 2010

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Today, Azercell Telecom Company has held a press conference on results o activity in 2010.

According to him, president Ali Agan has informed about the works that the company conducted in 2010 and noted that, the companyâ€™s customers base has increased in 2010: â€œAt the same time, we have launched many new services, extended the opportunities on launch of 3G service, finished the preparation works on 4Gâ€.

Besides, company invested $ 108.2 ml;n capital in Azerbaijanâ€™s economy in 2010. Ion general, company has invested $ 14 bln since it established: â€œCompany has transferred $ 114.6 mln to the state budget, during the same period. This index makes $ 868.2 mln during the 14 yearsâ€.

In 2010, Azercell has invested $ 1.4 mln in social projects, $ 14.7 mln during 14 years.

Company has launched 170 radio base stations, 31 Azercell Express offices during the same period.

Note that, Azercell has been in operation since 1996.
