There will be discount in train ticket prices in Azerbaijan, when bought beforehand

Spokesman for Azerbaijan Railways CJSC Nadir Azmammadov told APA that a number of measures were taken in connection with the application of the new tariffs. New fare grids for passenger and electric trains have been hanged in the booking offices. Passenger transportation department of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC prepared new software for computer-assisted booking offices. The new fare grids have been published in the mass media.

Nadir Azmammadov added that as shown in article 5 of the Tariff Councilâ€™s decision, there is AZN 1 discount in the tickets for passenger and express trains, AZN 2 discount in the tickets for fast trains, when the tickets worth more than AZN 4 are bought beforehand.
â€œTherefore, our citizens prefer to buy tickets beforehand,â€ he said.
