Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Foreign air companies have increased the payments for fuel. As the result of this, the air tickets has risen 5%.

APA-Economics says the air tickets are expected to be risen 10% in summer. The main reason of this is the increase of oil prices over the world.

Australian Qantas Airways has increased the payments for fuel by 53% to AZN $53. German Lufthansa Company increased the fuel payments by 2 Euros on domestic flights, 10Euros on international flights. Air France has also increased the prices. Singapur Airlines increased the prices by $3-27 for flight distance and service class. «KLM», «Delta», «Malaysian Airlines», «Cathay Pacific», «British Airways», «All Nippon Airways», «South African Airways» and «JetBlue» have also increased the prices.

AZAL did not increase the prices and that’s why no price rise observed in air tickets.

Note that, the price on Baku-Frankfurt-Baku flight has been increased to $ 974.
