Meeting with Georgian Presidentâ€™s mother Giuli Alasania held at Azerbaijanâ€™s Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies

Baku â€“ APA. Meeting with the delegation led by Giuli Alasania, Georgian Presidentâ€™s mother, head of Board of Trustees of Georgia University, was held at Azerbaijanâ€™s Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, press service of the ministry told APA.

Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov underlined that successful cooperation between the two countries expanded due to the expedient policy pursued by Azerbaijani and Georgian presidents. Minister gave detailed information about the work done in the ICT sector in Azerbaijan.

Giuli Alasania gave information about science and education system of Georgia. She said the government pays special attention to the teaching of natural sciences, the need for these specialties increased in the society.

Ali Abbasov said International IT University will be established in Azerbaijan. According to him, educational institutions are being conformed to the international standards, new faculties on IT have opened at the universities, there are wide opportunities for the Azerbaijani youth to study technical specialties abroad.
