Azerbaijan increases passenger transportation via air transport by 6%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. State Statistical Committee says 1 mln passengers were transported via air transport in 2010, up 6.2% compared to a year ago.

Of this, 78.8% was implemented by state sector, 21.2% by private sector.

Besides, 39.5 thousand tons of cargo was transported via air transport which 81.3% was implemented by non-state sector, up 24.2% from 2009.
